Editorial policy
A rumour and a press release are not the same thing, so they never look the same here.
The four evidence levels
Every page that makes a claim about the game carries one of four stamps. If a page mixes levels, each claim is marked where it is made.
- ConfirmedStated by Rockstar Games: the official site, the Newswire or a press release.
- On screenVisible in official footage, cited with its timestamp.
- ReportedFrom outside reporting. Described in words, never shown.
- Our readThe desk’s own analysis, stated as ours.
Sources
Official claims link to the official page. Claims from footage give the video and the timestamp, so anyone can check the frame for themselves. Reporting by other outlets is credited and linked.
Leaks
Leaked material is never hosted here: no leaked images, no leaked video, no mirrors and no links to them. When a leak is newsworthy it is described in words under the Reported stamp, and the page says plainly that it is unverified.
Our own analysis
When the desk draws a conclusion of its own, it is stamped Our read and written as ours. It is an argument from evidence, and it can be wrong. When it turns out to be wrong, the page says so.
Corrections
Mistakes are fixed in place with a dated note at the foot of the page saying what changed. Nothing is quietly rewritten.
Artwork
The illustrations on this site are original and made for it. Official screenshots and trailer stills are used sparingly, credited to Rockstar Games, and never as part of this site's own identity.
